Star Trek: Discovery is a science fiction series related to the world-famous media franchise, which main difference from other genre projects was the humanistic view at alien life forms: the Star Trek heroes repeatedly clashed with each other, but in the end always sought to mutual understanding. The Star trek was created by dreamers for dreamers, for those viewers who perceive science as a means of discovering new worlds, and not as a shortcut to the destruction of an enemy that we do not even know.
Ten years before the first mission of Captain Kirk to explore new worlds and life forms, the Shenzhou spaceship is sent. On board there are also several representatives of non-human species. Together they move towards the dream of a world in which all creatures can find a common language. But it turns out that not all extraterrestrial races in the universe are just as friendly. Between the Federation and the ancient clan a conflict is ripening, for the solution of which the crew of the ship will have to forget about the house, overcome the greatest trials and make serious sacrifices.
But the future, they dream of, that deprived of fear and placing discoveries above conquest, is worth to reject any doubts and boldly go where no human has ever gone before.
