Eleanor Shellstrop from New Jersey was a rude, cynical and ill-bred young woman: she was constantly rude to others, did not maintain relations with her relatives and did such things for which she believed that after death she would certainly go to Hell. Moreover, once she really died under the wheels of a truck. However, after death, she ended up not in Hell, but Paradise – in the so-called The Good Place.
In the fourth season, Eleanor (Kristen Bell) continues her attempts to get out of paradise, which she does not like at all. Well, or, at worst, she needs to learn to fit this beautiful place. Her friends, Chedi and Michael, still hope that one day Eleanor will change for the better and really deserve to be in paradise.
